Tips & Important Notes
-
Because of the federal shutdown, some benefit timelines or processing might be delayed — use 2-1-1 OR Emergency Services Network to check for any changes in FoodShare or emergency assistance.
-
Even if you’re currently receiving FoodShare, food pantries are there as a supplemental resource — you don’t have to wait until you exhaust benefits.
-
If you’re feeling worried, stressed, or anxious about finances or food, that’s absolutely understandable. You are not alone — 2-1-1 can also connect you with mental health support, crisis lines, and other stabilization services.
